"We felt completely at home in Evelyn's place. Her accounts of the history of the place and of her family enriched the experience greatly. The young British couple that were helping her run the place were available at all times and provided great conversation as well."

"Stayed there one night and just loved everything Evelyn offered. Can't wait to visit again. I recommend this place to anyone. She made sure that she accommodated my wife's food alergies when she made breakfast. Late night on the porch watching the sunset was just fantastic."

"If you're looking for a truly"Vermont" experience, this is it!! What a wonderful old farmhouse yet so comfortable. Evelyn made our stay fantastic even serving us a great breakfast with bacon eggs and freshly squeezed orange juice at 5:00 a.m. so we could get on the road. We highly recommend this lovely place to stay!"

"The house is lovely, and is was great to be able to sit out on the porch at night looking over the Vermont countryside. Evelyn was welcoming, and very accommodating regarding breakfast times and our schedule. There is a river just a short way down the road that we swam in, and Evelyn had great recommendations for local places to eat."

"Evelyn is a lovely person whose home is a gorgeous, traditional Vermont farmhouse. Every morning you get a taste of her fabulous quiches or frittatas that she sells at the local farmers markets. The house always smells of pies, quiche, jams or some other wonderful thing she's making. The photos simply can't do the property justice. Rooms were larger than expected for such an old home. I genuinely recommend."
